Introduction

The French assessment test (TEF) allows you to certify your level of French in order to carry out certain administrative procedures. As a result, there are several types of TEF. Our organisation offers three types:
  1. TEF integration, residence, nationality (IRN): : useful for obtaining a residence permit in France, French nationality, working in France and enhancing your OFII citizenship status
  2. TEF Canada : to move to Canada and obtain Canadian citizenship
  3. TEF Quebec (TEFAQ) : for an immigration project in Quebec or to obtain Canadian citizenship

Each test consists of 4 exams. Depending on your objective, you can take 1 to 4 exams:
  • Listening comprehension
  • Reading comprehension
  • Oral expression
  • Written expression

To obtain Canadian citizenship, only the oral comprehension and expression tests are mandatory.

The TEF is valid for 2 years.
