TCF : French Knowledge Test

The TCF is intended for all non-French-speaking audiences to validate their knowledge of French.
This test places candidates on one of the six levels of the CECR (from A1 to C2). It consists of three compulsory tests: oral comprehension, mastery of language structures, written comprehension and two opcional tests: oral expression and written expression.
It is carried out on a computer.

TCF ANF : French Knowledge Test for French Nationality

The "TCF for French nationality" was specifically designed to meet the provisions relating to the control of knowledge of the French language for applicants for the acquisition of French nationality.
The certificate of the "TCF for French nationality" is valid only for a file of application for acquisition of the French nationality by marriage or by naturalization.

The "TCF for French nationality" includes four obligatory tests: listening (duration: 30 minutes), reading (duration: 45minutes), writing (duration: 30 minutes)  and speaking (duration: 10 minutes).

TCF DAP is designed for people of 16 years old or more who wants to register to a bachelor or an architecture school in France.

The test includes 4 tests : 3 multiple-choice questionnaire to assess listenig (duration : 25 minutes), reading (45 minutes), mastering language structure (15 minutes). The 4th test is a writing test (60 minutes).

The TCF DAP diploma is valid for 2 years.
